Katrina

The devastion to the Gulf states just keeps rising. It is frustrating to have watched from afar what was going to happen, and then to see the destruction afterwards...and the hardest part is still probably yet to come. I can not imagine. I did not live here when Hugo hit Charleston and the surrounding area, I have only heard the stories of what it was like.

I made a themed charm bracelet of New Orleans and Louisanna to auction on ebay for charity. I hope it brings a good price.

Chrysoscolla

Last night I went with a friend on a bead buying spree, and got some gorgeous Chrysoscolla! Here's what I did with it this morning, combining with silver beads, Swarovski Morian rounds and an oval rolo chain. The dragon is one of my favorote pendants I have had for some time, waiting for the right necklace! I was happy with the results on this one, but I have more of the half moon stones that I think I will use as the center piece in the next necklace.
